In wenigen Schritten Briefwahlunterlagen beantragen

1. Briefwahl beantragen – bis spätestens 7. Mai 2025, 17:00 Uhr
Senden Sie eine E-Mail an: senat@univie.ac.at mit der Begründung für die Abwesenheit während der Wahl (Zulässige Gründe: Krankheit, Dienstreise oder Ortsabwesenheit)

2. Wahlunterlagen abholen – spätestens bis 14. Mai 2025, 16:00 Uhr
Die Unterlagen können bis 14. Mai im Senatsbüro abgeholt werden. Bei Abwesenheit kann eine wahlberechtigte Person mit einer unterschriebenen Vollmacht und einem Foto/Scan Ihres Ausweises die Abholung übernehmen.

3. Stimme abgeben – bis spätestens 14. Mai 2025, 17:00 Uhr
Der Wahlbrief muss bis 14. Mai im Senatsbüro eingelangt sein. Bedenken Sie also bei postalischer Übersendung die möglicherweise anfallende Sendungsdauer.

Am einfachsten ist es, bis 14. Mai im Senatsbüro persönlich vor Ort zu wählen.

Die Öffnungszeiten des Senatsbüros (Uni Hauptgebäude) sind:

     

  • Montag – Donnerstag von 9 Uhr bis 15 Uhr sowie Freitag von 9 Uhr bis 13 Uhr
  • Am Karfreitag, 18. April 2025 und am Freitag, 2. Mai 2025 geschlossen
  • Am 8. Mai nur bis 12 Uhr geöffnet.

1. Request postal vote – by 7 May 2025, 5:00 PM at the latest
Send an email to: senat@univie.ac.at with the reason for your absence during the election (Valid reasons: illness, business trip or absence from the location)

2. Collect election documents – by 14 May 2025, 4:00 PM at the latest
Documents can be collected at the Senate Office until 14 May. If you are absent, a person eligible to vote may collect the documents with a signed authorization and a photo/scan of your ID.

3. Submit your vote – by 14 May 2025, 5:00 PM at the latest
The ballot must arrive at the Senate Office by 14 May. Please consider possible mailing times if sending by post.

The easiest way is to vote in person at the Senate Office by 14 May.

Opening hours of the Senate Office (Main University Building):

     

  • Monday – Thursday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM and Friday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
  • Closed on Good Friday, 18 April 2025 and Friday, 2 May 2025
  • On 8 May only open until 12 noon.
